Texas Theater is a piece of American history still showing the best movies to date! We have watched movies there ranging from 1940s french war to modern day psychedelic gorecore horror. The staff is amazing and have always gotten great service. And as if the place couldnt get any better, there is a fully stocked bar right in the lobby.

Staff super friendly and organized. Finding the entrance was a little confusing, we ended up entering the wrong way... Staff checked to make sure we were able to see the screen over the car in front of us and beverages ordered online were delivered quickly! We almost forgot to turn our headlights on when we were leaving but a staff member caught that too! Great experience.

Great to be back at the Texas Theatre again with old friends watching a first rate gem of a film, Mank. The perfect place to watch a black & white masterpiece the way it was intended.

I visited back in February before COVID. When you open the doors, you are immediately welcomed by the concession stand. The prices are decent! Beware that the popcorn sizes go by #mm. As a first time guest, I was slightly confused but the attendant politely explained.nnJust a few steps away, there is a bar with a few stools. Further in, there is also a seating/waiting area. Guests are not allowed up the stairs, I believe. One theater room with the classic red seats. The screen and audio are great. Like at any theater, I recommend sitting in the center.nnOverall, this is probably one of my favorite spots in Dallas. It was an amazing experience.

We went to see “Metropolis” with a live score. It was great; the staff was friendly, good concessions, easy parking. The music was badass.
