The women and men who serve here have come to my rescue twice this year. ( 1st time was a neighbor who thought my house was on fire but I was just burning branches that fell after a storm the night before. But at least I had an opportunity to show off my backyard!) 2nd time though was a little serious and I needed medical attention. I'm stubborn as a mule but I ran into the same firefighters that came the 1st time and if it wasn't for them I wouldn't have gone to the hospital. No joke, they truly saved my life and I'm forever grateful. ( But hey, when things lighten up after this pandemic I promise to throw a huge all day bbq so hopefully you can all come in between your shifts!) God Bless you all for who you are and what you do. Not all heroes wear capes!❤
