The McMahon scheduler was very informative, called to update on ETA of technician, and then followed up with me to make sure the technician left the area clean. John, the plumber who came, was EXCELLENT. He was so polite, informative about the price beforehand, and then made sure I was satisfied before he left. I highly recommend McMahon to anyone who asks. Plumbing is NOT cheap, so don't expect a cheap service. But with McMahon, expect excellence!
Used them twice. Great service, reliable and honest. They charge what they are supposed to charge based on the book. A few people here gave low ratings because of the cost. Trust me. I had another plumber who I used several times that charges much less. But, he's flaky and tends to ghost you. When my water heater broke, the plumber I used often never showed up for 3-days and kept telling me he was coming and never did. McMahon was on the spot, did the job and out in 3-hours the same day. So, you ask yourself, pay more and get what you're supposed to get. Or, pay less and roll the dice on whether this person will show up or not. 3-days without hot water is uncalled for and that plumber should lose his license. I'd rather pay what the cost is suppose to be and had hot water the same day.
McMahon Plumbing has been performing the annual service on the high efficiency heating and hot water system in our home. We have had the same technician (Adam) for the last three years. Adam is professional, punctual ( arrives when they say he will), explains all that he will be doing and gives us the estimated cost prior to doing the work. I needed help correcting the draft on the flue of my water heater. I called other locations and they didn't understand what I was talking about, but when I called McMahon, the woman who picked up was friendly and was able to get me a tech within the same morning. When the tech came, he was professional and courteous; he remained extremely communicative about what he was doing, and how he was doing it. He was also very patient when I asked a barrage of questions regarding other services. Would recommend for a friendly and knowledgeable staff.
I had a multi-part sink and w/d install. Elvis and his partner were very professional and thorough, got everything working properly and left the place in good condition. Would definitely call again.
