I really liked this branch: the manager is a no-nonsense kind of person and the car was in a perfect shape (something that you expect from a car rental 'by default' but not always get). The location is convenient too.

You are in and out within minutes. You don't feel like you're being rushed.The agent's at the Pearland location is amazing. I have rented several times from that location and haven't been disappointed. Keep it up Avis!! Everyone don't for get to MASK UP!.

I will not rent from this company again! I fell ill to the Coronavirus and reached out to the customer service to see if there was a way to pick up the car being that I was under a self quarantine. I contacted Avis asking for the appropriate action for me to take. They told me Roadside Assistance would pick up the car in 24-48 hours and I would not receive any additional fees because it is COVID-19 related. I called back the day the car was due and was told “not to worry” and “it will be picked up”. After an addition day I called again to follow up and was told the same thing. Ten days later when I was done with quarantine, The car still was not picked up so I took the car back myself. I had $550 worth of late charges that was due. The Avis employee informed me that he was not able to help and politely told me to take it up with customer services. I called customer services and they said all they can do is reduce fees by $120... and that would be “pushing it”. I would of had no problem returning the car! (Not safe in my opinion, however it is there vehicle and would of done so accordingly) I was looking out for other people involved (employees and customers). If Avis would of told me to return the vehicle I would have, but they told me the vehicle “will be picked up with no additional charge.”nAlso a side note: I found a phone in the backseat which makes me wonder how much effort they put in cleaning the interior of these vehicles.
