Food is consistently good at Legal so no surprises there. Very impressed with their outdoor seating (and heating) and their Covid precautions, including QR scan for contact tracing. Pleasantly surprised by a cauliflower appetizer that I thought was chicken and very much enjoyed the ribs that went with the always great seafood offerings.
Good food good service. And has a cool, cozy atmosphere on a harsh Winter day.. We go there after Christmas shopping. Right now they have outside dining and we ate there last night and aside from it being a bit windy it was a great experience. Very good staff.
I dined inside yesterday and was very pleased with the Clam Chowder, Oysters and some wine.nnThe disappointment came from my Signature Crab Cake order. First it was served on a noticebly dirty plate. I mentioned it to server and they tried to explain it was from the dishwasher. I asked for it to be returned/replaced with cleaner plate. It was returned on a much cleaner plate but it was barely warm and a much smaller portion.nI didn't finish eating and considered speaking to the manager but decided to remain engaged in my dining conversationnnDisappointed!
I tried this spot once with my friend and I am addicted ever since. I love the excellent mood and fresh dishes and drinks. Fantastic work.
The ultimate in seafood restaurants. A little pricey, but you pay for quality. If you love seafood, this is the place to go. Every menu selection is delishes. Well worth the trip!
