It appears that they save money by hiring people with no experience rather than hiring experienced tax prep professionals. The person helping me had to have the office manager continually help him. It's fortuante he did. Had she not come over, he had us owing the IRS $3200. After she came over and essentially did everything over the IRS owed us a little over $2k. Although we had set up direct deposit, a hard check was still mailed to the office. Although everyone in the office were quite persoanble we have zero confidence in the accuracy of our 2020 tax filing and are taking all of our information to a local CPA to review and make sure everything is accurate. We went there out of convenience. Never again will we do business with M & M.
