Secretary was extremely rude and unprofessional. After reading the past comments I see this is a habitual problem. I have recorded my phone calls, so I will just release them and let the public hear how we are spoken to.

Wow in reading the comments here, I've had the same issue with this office. They just CAN NOT get their tax recipients updated. I had an issue with my mom's vacation home in MYB- it took 2 years and I finally had to go in person and demand they register the property in my name (despite all the correct paperwork in the mail). Now that the property has been sold, I am having the SAME issue getting the office to transfer this property to the new owner. I sold the property a year and a half ago, and continue to get tax bills, despite numerous calls and documenttation.nMaybe it's sheer incompentency or maybe it's just a way to collect late fees.
out of all these complaints i dont see a single one on how much there price is for land taxes, their their stealing us blind !
I live in Conway SC for 13 years and visit the Horry County Treasure many times and I always receive an excellent service the employees where always very nice and respectful. Today I still contact them by phone to pay my property taxes every year because I still have a property at 1507 Green St 29527 and they still giving me a wonderful service 14 years after I move out to Florida where I live now,so thank you very much.
