Facing an IRS problem with a deadline for response, I learned two weeks after handing my materials over to this firm that the IRS rejected the authorization I signed to enable the accountant to act on my behalf. Then, later, once I signed the proper form the tax accountant should have submitted, I sent it over and have not been able to get in touch with this guy. My emails are bounced back, but I have sent text messages and several phone calls. I even faxed over my information. Still, nothing. I do not know what to make of this. I'm so late in responding to the IRS that I'm sunk. Meanwhile, this is the only accounting firm within a 30-minute drive from my home. Good grief!
