Peaceful and Serene. Skipped rocks. Unfortunately people left their trash including broken glass. We picked up what we could to dispose of it.
Great place to get access to the Illinois River to enjoy being close to nature and take in the scenery. I love taking my camera down to get photos of the wildlife in the morning and as the sun sets.
Beautiful place for free access to the Illinois River.nDoesn't have very much shade so wear sunblock or bring an umbrella. It has a rocky beach area to the river and trash cans to keep it cleaned up.nAll in All a great place to swim
We had a fabulous time. Not too many visitors when we were there. Portable bathrooms available by parking. Plenty of beach and depending on River level there's a nice sand bar. Beautiful, serene and clean! Trash cans available at parking - I hope everyone continues cleaning up after themselves.
