Martin's Landing, Lake Murray*

We had spot #17 a view of lake Murray. Beautiful. Has brand new private shower stalls. Space #17 didn't have sewer but had electricity and water. Dump station in same area and easy in and out. We would be back . Responsibly priced $35 a night march 2021

This is nice place to have camp. Just besides Lake Murray. Ample place to set up the camp, have Barbeque kits, table tops and sitting arrangements. You can have your private boat and drive it in the lake.nSince it is private, you can't go there without reservations. Please contact them before going there. Otherwise nice place to spend quality peaceful time.

I used to enjoy coming to this lake. Now not so much. Some people bring their pets and there is droppings everywhere can't find nowhere to place your towels without getting poop all over them or on your sandals. On top of that you now have to pay a fee to park. ud83dudc4e

I am not a person to write reviews, but this time I have to. I do not like to judge people, but the fact that I felt racially profiled did not make anything better, and when I found out they were a Trump supporter, it made sense to why we were so rudely spoken to when all we were doing is asking simple questions, there was no reason for us to even be rude to someone we do not even know. On the website it says max of 3 tents per campsite and we had a total of 7, but we had reserved and paid for 2 campsites, meaning we can have a total of 6 and we had to pay for just one extra tent. I was going to get charged for 5 extra tents, the lady who went to speak to us, she did not even let us talk and explain to her what the website had online and what we were going off originally but she abruptly spoke over us and said it is only a 1 max tent per campsite yet when we walked to the bathroom we saw campsites with 3 tents each, and I doubt they went to every single one of those campsites and told them they were going to get charged 2 extra tents. Otherwise, if you want to have fun at a beautiful lake while having the feeling of being racially profiled go for it. If you are Hispanic, make sure you take someone who speaks English in case they try pulling something like this, it does not make sense why I would have to reserve and pay for 7 campsites when that would literally take one third of the park. Per the question I was answered on this Google questions, they tell me it is 3 tents per campsite.

Good camping spot, very clean bathrooms. A little loud from road noise.
