He had my car for 3 weeks to change a relay that was causing the fan to run the battery down, and strung me along every week saying he'd finish it by the following Monday. After figuring out for myself what the problem was with a brief online search, I showed up on the 23rd day and told him I was taking the car back. By noon that day, he finished it up so that he could charge me not only for labor, but $530 for a $179 fan module, $85 for a $47 relay, and $185 for a battery.nCaveat Emptor.

John was very honest and helpful. My car broke down in Cohasset so I called the nearest garage, which was Johns Car Care. He immediately had a tow truck sent and contacted me shortly after to let me know that my transmission was gone. He then took it upon himself to then contact Nissan and discovered that despite the car being old, it was still under warranty for a transmission. He told me to take it to Nissan where they would repair it free of charge - which they did. We will use John now for all our car needs.
