Wrightsville Sands is a top vacation rental management company at the beach. They have cared for my home like no other company, always striving, and finding, responsible renters who will take care of the home like their own. They are highly professional and fair in their interactions with owners and renters--something I have experienced and heard from many, who don't bother to leave reviews unfortunately.. They ensure the property is meticulously maintained, spotlessly cleaned, and always ready on time for check in. Shannon and Dave are not a 'vacation rental factory'. They know each of their properties personally, and even do the final pre-check-in inspection personally to make sure everything is right with the property before the guests arrive. They are highly responsive to renters if a problem arises and make sure that is resolved satisfactorily, and quickly. Shannon and Dave also have a long term rental business in Wilmington, of which I don't have experience, but for vacation rentals, you won't find a better company on Wrightsville Beach to handle your vacation. Shannon and Dave are gems in the vacation rental world.

If I could give zero stars I would.. please understand the way that my boyfriend and I were treated could have been the result of us renting a 1,000 dollar place as opposed to a 2,500 dollar one but I really am just sure they took joy in making it a horrible experience. From the very start they were rude, sarcastic, and unethical about very very real situations. And by real I mean used needles in the closet found after move in, which I could absolutely find the report if you don’t believe me. The place hadn’t been cleaned from the last people who lived there. There was definitely a bug infestation before we had it taken care of (which we let them know about and they laughed and claimed it comes with the area that we were living). There was shattered glass all over the yard (the entire yard), which was not impressive to begin with. Not to mention rusted nails, spread out all over the back yard. My dog actually stepped on a rusty nail and I was forced to take her to the vet. When I expressed to Wrightsville sands the unpleasant news, I did not get an “oh I’m sorry, is she okay”, I literally got an “send me the vet report”. Not only that, the back deck, which looked like it hadn’t been redone in over 30-40 years, caved when my boyfriend was walking down the steps and wouldn’t you guess, rusted nails there too. They did take care of the back porch, but they left a horrible mess of the wood shavings from creating the steps, in the only gated, small backyard used for my dog. It could have easily been done outside the fenced part. Again, it could have been something they were not even considering when going about it, but consideration was absent throughout the entire experience. Including the time I emailed about the broken handle on the front door, which was ignored, and later billed to me for fixing from our deposit. We were also billed for insane things like replacing the fire alarm batteries and air filter and about 40 dollars worth of “miscellaneous” charges that had no explanation. I would have to say though, the worst part about it all is that, about 4 weeks before moving out, after the hurricane I had several spots in the home that had mold. I went straight to them and said this is not going to be good for my dog and I to stay with. Shannon agreed it was extremely urgent to fix and that she’d have someone on it immediately. But take a guess. No one ever showed up. I’d be more than happy to share pictures and the final move out video with you of everything from the house that went ignored. Again, I’m sure the service for more luxurious homes is far different, but I honestly feel cheated and belittled. They make you feel insane and as though it is absurd to ask your property management to take something serious, but they’re not the ones living with it. And that shows. Would never recommend them and I wish we had took more serious measures to right their wrongs. Please comment if you’re ever interested in learning more.

We have been using them for 9 years to manage our property. They have been great. Always fast to respond, answer questions, found us good tenants, and taken good care of our house. Highly recommend them if you are looking to rent out your house. We sleep easy at night, even stationed overseas, knowing they take such good care of our property.

Y'all this is the best realty company in Wrightsville Beach! The best rental properties and team! I HIGHLY recommend renting from them!
