We love Red Bank Wine! We have been buying our wine there exclusively for years. The owners and staff are knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. Varied local and foreign wines..nPrices not too bad. Exceptional customer service
Do not shop at Red Bank. Owner Eric (guy with a bad attitude and huge ego) resents anyone questioning his superior knowledge of all wines in the universe, and what you really want or need. He was nasty and condescending. He became aggressive and hostile, and appeared to resent my questions about whether he had tasted his wines. He became visibly upset at my questioning. Had been a customer of his for 10 plus years. The man lacks customer service skills. Do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else .
Please please please do not support a business with such horrible customer service. I was in trying to pick out a bottle for a friend's wedding, and I must admit I am not an expert in wines, but the bald guy (I'm only assuming the owner) would not even look up from his paperwork to assist me. If you know exactly what you are looking for then they have a huge selection, as do several other wine stores in Wilmington, but if you have ANY questions in the least I would recommend not 'interrupting' this gentleman. There are too many other local places to purchase nice wine for this to be acceptable in my mind. It appears quite a few other people have had similar problems here as well. Bad way to run a local business.
