PT Solutions of East Asheville

If you are reading this, you or a loved one may have just endured trauma, and/or surgery, and be in serious pain. I'm coming from a background as a RN including having been a supervisor at a rehab/long term care facility. I also have chronic neck and back pain, and had neck surgery eight years ago. So yes, I have had physical therapy several times in the past and been exposed to physical therapy. I wish someone had recommended PT Solutions to me when I fell and broke my left humerus (large bone in arm). Fortune smiled upon me and I found them because they are near where I live. I was not a candidate for surgery to reduce my shattered arm bone and the pain was intense. Because of the location of the break I was not a candidate for a cast either. When I showed up at PT Solutions the week after my fall, I was angry, in extreme pain, and thought starting physical therapy so soon was not a good idea. Laura, the manager at the East Asheville location, was my first contact. With great skill and compassion Laura got me on the path to healing both emotionally and physically. What I like about PT Solutions is that the therapist are all high quality. The atmosphere is positive and the therapist are enthusiastic and compassionate. I can tell that they follow a strict protocol that is evidence based. They understand and can explain the science behind what they do. I like the collaboration between the therapist. Quite a few times the area manager Kevin has been there and I feel that there is a lot of brain power at work as him and Laura collaborate with and supervise the other therapist. By now I have worked with five different therapist and I highly recommend each one. I trust these folks and feel safe working with them. Kendra is the office manager and has a knack for keeping things running smoothly with appointments, billing, and welcoming me with a smile. Even when my arm is healed, I plan to be back at PT Solutions when my neck or low back pain flairs up.

As I got older, I found that my muscles weren’t responding to the physical exercises I do almost everyday. And, there was pain that bothered me. I cannot say enough good things about PT Solutions in general, and Laura especially. I lived with chronic back pain for over twenty years and not only am I now almost entirely pain free, but I have tools and exercises to help me relieve pain when it recurs and also keep strengthening my body to continue decreasing my painful days. Laura is patient and kind and makes sure you understand the purpose of each exercise and what your plan of care is. Plus the front desk staff is friendly and fun, and the clinic is beautiful and convenient. If you have any sort of pain, I strongly recommend PT Solutions!

First off, I started with PT Solutions at another location and it wonderful as well, however, the physical therapy that I had from that location was so extraordinary, they promoted her to the Clinic Director position at the East Asheville Office, so I moved with her.nWhen I arrived at the East Asheville location, I was so happy to see another familiar face in Megan, who met me with courtesy and a smile every visit during check-in at the previous place as well. Seeing these two together, I knew would be a perfect match.nNow, who is this amazing physical therapist you ask, let me introduce her to you now. Please meet, Laura Oliver, PT, DPT, OCS.nAlthough she has a new role as clinical director, she has not changed one bit. What I have noticed is that it has not rattled her in any way. She is taking her time to build her team and she is building it well. She has included wonderful staff members so far which include Kendra (who is the light of at front desk), and Rachel (who is an excellent physical therapist from the PT family).nI indeed believe that Laura is the BEST Physical Therapist, and that PT Solutions@ East Asheville is the Best in Asheville, so let me give you reasons why.nLaura and the crew are very professional, knowledgeable and you can tell they love what they do, and they make a great team. As I continue to recover from surgery, and other chronic issues PT Solutions @East Asheville Physical Therapy team has helped educate me on ways to strengthen the area without risking injury. They stay up on the latest developments to ease pain and expedite their patient’s recovery as I saw when they provided me with dry needling which provided relief for my chronic pain. They show empathy, compassion, and attention to detail for every client. Laura provides homework so that you can continue to improve, and they also use a healthy dose of humor to put their patients at ease. I have seen steady improvements every week; thanks to their efforts and wise advice.
