Always a spot full of wonder and awe when visiting Asheville. The spacious gallery is very well lit and very well curated. The staff is very friendly and informative. I would highly recommend making the trip here.

Momentum Gallery showcases work that encapsulates, harmoniously, both the spirit of Asheville and contemporary art. From the very beginning, Jordan and Shifra have put their hearts into creating this one of a kind white-wall gallery. The curation is impeccable and wonderfully showcases the artists they have chosen to represent, many of whom are local. Despite the grandiose appearance of their collection, so much of their works are affordable for first time art collectors and craft enthusiasts. Whether you are an art buyer or not doesn't seem to bother Shifra, who will happily indulge in conversation about pieces and process regardless. Be that as it may, Momentum is, in my opinion, one of the best galleries in the U.S. for between the affordable pieces are breathtaking museum quality works of art. All and all, it is a cultural experience and a soul enriching experience to visit. You would be remiss to come to Asheville without stopping by to peruse the two story, wonderfully pleasant and constantly evolving gallery, Momentum.

Gorgeous art in several mediums. People at the front desk (the curators I believe) were nice and informative; they were able to tell us about the space and artists. Half of the works were by local artists when we went!

Our daughter took us to Momentum Gallery when we visited her over the holiday. I was very impressed by the beautiful layout of the gallery and the collections within. The owner (?) was extremely knowledgeable and made us feel very welcome. As the mother of an artist, I appreciate when a gallery conveys joy at having an artist's work on display and makes the effort to share the love for that work. I found an artist I absolutely fell in love with and will return to hopefully add to my collection.

I visited this gallery for the first time today with my children. The current works on display were both visually breathtaking, and thought provoking.The staff member present was so professional and friendly; she was able to answer all of my questions and direct me to exactly what I was looking for. Somewhat of a unique experience as far as art galleries go (sometimes they can be quite aloof almost as of to challenge people to be brought together or engage in intelligent conversation over , although admittedly visiting them is a rare occurence for me these days. Hopefully I will have more opportunities in the near future.
