I'm a student and I would not really recommend this school for 6-8th grade because it has fighting almost every day and teachers don't really do anything. If you are using it as a buffer school between elementary and a exam school it is a good way to understand how middle and high schools an be like.
The Irving IS NOT A GOOD SCHOOL there are fights everyday and most of the teachers don't teach you anything, the few that do are probably on there way out to better jobs (btw im a student) DO NOT GO TOO THIS SCHOOL enroll your kid in charter school just don't go here its not worth it because nobody is doing anything that is helping the school and everything they do is so unorganized. Not too mention they waste our valuable class time doing community building stuff that nobody likes or participates in so ya...
This school is the best and if the kids act up they get kick out and they don't give alot of homework and they have a Big Football FIELD
as a student from the irving i would not recommend you to enroll your child st the irving fir its own safety i came to the irving and its been non-stop fighting, the teachers choose favorites aswell as the staff memeber snd throughout my 8th grade school year i got jumoed and the principal Ms.Davis does not do a thing about the nonsense and foolish behavior here at the irving and its getting out of hand students are worried more about the drama than theyre own school worl you got kidd running out of clads to fight students skipping class ,disrespecting teachers indint feel safe at the irving as a student. if i were you i wouldnt send my child to the irving
