It's essentially a great clips that you only go to for the location. Not too great, but if you don't have a car its probably one of the more affordable places to get a haircut.
Very reasonably priced (especially compared to the salon on campus), and staff is so friendly and skilled! I came in to trim my bangs, and she made sure that the length was perfect several times so that they were not too long or too short. I also requested that she cut my hair dry since it is very wavy and she did a great job, and my hair is pretty difficult for most professionals. Also cut my hair even though I got there a little before opening which was very kind. Will be returning!
There is a guy at the haircut place that does not listen to instructions at all and says he knows what is best. He apparently thinks he knows better than the customer. Previously I had a much better experience with someone else.

When I moved to St. Louis this was the very first place I went to get a hair cut since it’s conveniently located across the street from WashU.nThis place is marketed for a young audience, so I expected to get a cut with a modern look.nThat being said, one of their hair stylists is very old-fashioned in the way he works. Unfortunately I got a haircut from him and it wasn’t exactly what I was expecting, moreover, the stylist wasn’t very open to criticism so I ended up unhappy with the result.nMy recommendation would be to bring people that better aligns with the overall strategy of the saloon.
