Everyone was very friendly, awesome diving.
We stayed here for diving the Bonne Terre mines. I arrived late, so my only room option was the train car farthest away from the street. No windows, but it was quiet and the air conditioning was really cold, with no way to adjust as far as I could tell. Overall clean with minimal amenities and no service the entire weekend. The main building was interesting, but kind of creepy. Interesting decor, somewhat historic. Fun for a weekend with a group of friends, but that's plenty
If you're here to dive it's pretty incredible. The water is a bit on the cold side but it's not unbearable. There are some spots where it's dark and definitely an overhead environment, but overall it's well lit and they go to great lengths to keep it safe (a guide and at least 1 safety diver in the rear, communications with the dock, frequent air checks, safety drills on the first dive). Plenty to see, especially after you finish the first 2 trails. The guides are fantastic, can't wait to come back and do some more of the trails.
Where else can you sleep in a converted train car and dive in mines? This place is a gem.
Comfortable and extremely close to the mine! If you are diving more than once in Bonne Terre, I highly recommend staying here!
