A few years ago we experienced a flue fire due to a large chunk of the liner breaking off. It was 3:51 in the morning when I placed the 911 call..temperature outside was minus 4 degrees Fahrenheit. First Responders were on scene in just under 5 minutes. Everything else came rolling on scene in under 10 minutes. Our Rolla Rural Fire Department is very good, professional and each person knew exactly what and where they were to be on scene. That's the short story. I will say given the extreme cold and conditions I was very, very, very impressed with the speed and efficiency of their work. Thank you again for saving most of the house. We were fortunate to have vaulted ceilings in that part of the house. A thank you also goes to St. James Fire Department who also arrived on scene to be of assistance as well.nSincerely,nSteve Bell
