I found this little gem online, and couldn't be happier that I did! Due to Covid they are seeing customers by appointment only, but that doesn't take away from the experience at all. The setup is lovely, with lots of little surprises tucked away. I left with two books and a flower seed kit ud83cudf3c ud83cudf3b ud83cudf38 and can't wait to book my next visit!
Called the store to reserve a book for pickup. Turns out they didn’t have it in store, but they ordered it on line so I could go and pick it up the following week. Extremely accommodating, fairly priced, and the staff was wonderful.
Great little place. However as w everything right now, the required appt and only 30 min to browse takes away the purpose really for me to go. Not their fault and awesome for them to make things work under these circumstances. But how about making it a bit more spontaneous . Counts of people in and out, rather then reservation s. And also 30 min, really not long enough to browse, which is after all my purpose for going anyway. Otherwise, if I know what book to buy, I buy it online. Defeating the purpose in support ing my local store. Just saying
Great store lots to see and helpful staff
Lucked out, walked in to browse and saw that Michelle Tea would be doing reading later that evening! Naturally I had to come back for it. Very charming little shop.
