Convention Center

This is an easy safe way to get to/from BWI Baltimore Airport to Camden Yards, the Convention Center and the Baltimore Hilton. I came to Baltimore for the NRPA conference at the convention center. This light rail train was easy to figure out at the airport- you just use the self-explanatory ticket machine to purchase your ticket. Its less than $2. I was staying at the Hilton next to the convention center and the light rail convention center stop was next to the Hilton lobby where I checked in. And yes, I had a large bag that was easy to take on and off the train. And yes, the train is safe - I did not find any issues taking it during the day.nnShow less

The Light Rail stop at the Convention Center is one of the best locations in the city. Its close to the Inner Harbor, it also crosses The Charm'tastic Mile, there are 5-6 hotels within walking distance, and is only minutes away from Camden Yards. Its also an ideal pick up stop for tourists who want to get to BWI Airport for less than $2.00. (the fare is 1.80 one-way).
