This library reminded me of a favorite book store. It has a large display of new arrivals with a note card in each book, indicating the name of the person who recommended it. If you've not been to a library in a while, you'll be surprised to find a self check-out system, which is more high tech than the grocery store self check-out system. Just place your selections on the scanning area, then, watch the names of the items appear on the large monitor above. Also, there are so many choices of audio-books and other media, it's the nicest library I've been to lately.
In June I visited this library and the staff was courteous and helpful, since it was my first time there.nnI found the quiet room a plus when reading or working on a project. Available were great dvds that are fairly new that I wanted to see; free for one day. I had no problems with the check out after getting assistance from the staff. The reading group was also a plus for the activities help for youths. Thanks.
Everyone should love their local library. Although the building is small they have a good selection of content. Avoid going between 3pm and 4pm after the middle school across the street lets out.
Great staff always glad to help you find a book and they recommend great books to read. Very organized, books are in great conditions, quiet room for readers who like quiet time to read and on Wensdays there is teen time for kids 12+ food and games.
