Little did I know that The Greene Turtle ud83dudc22 has over 20+ Maryland locations! It opened its first spot in 1976 (the year I was born, don’t tell nobody) in Ocean City, Maryland. In 1981, college buddies Steve Pappas and Tommy Dickerson bought Ocean City English-style pub, The Greene Turtle, and transformed it into a beloved sports bar. Growing up in Baltimore, the “Turtle” became our go to place for burgers & fries, later on beer and hanging out with friends.nnFlash forward to 2021, it still holds its own with great service, tasty menus and solid boozy beverages (new fav is the Lavender Cosmo that Sam mixed up for me at their Hunt Valley location). Huge bar, friendly staff, pool tables, BIG game room with lots of space. We adore the green turtle!

Went for early dinner /4pm on Saturday and service was good. Crab cakes were very good as well as the burgers and fries. Menu seemed limited, especially for healthier choices.

Horrible service here. My girlfriend and I just waited 15 minutes with no greeting from our server, no drink order, and no acknowledgement whatsoever. That was after waiting 5 minutes for for booth. The resturant wasn't even full. This is not the first time we've had issues here and we should have learnt then. Not coming back. Ever.

This is difficult because the food was good, the crab dip was a little salty but everything else was okay. They were severely short staff and the wait time was unacceptable. They were clearly overwhelmed and it showed in the service.

The food was good but they didnt have enough staff....waiter was so busy that someone else took our order
