I live around the corner and they have great food. I frequent this restaurant and it’s one of my favorites in Baltimore. But whoever hires the super air head females to be hostesses must be an air head themselves or is a man. When you ask the hostess any question about the restaurant, the menu, anything. The answer is always signature “I don’t know honestly..” been this way for years. It’s crazy.

I come to this marvelous restaurant many times since I love the special atmosphere that is part of this restaurant. The staff is extremely loving and experienced. The service is awfully fast. Not to mention, the food you eat is outstanding. I came more than once and I was always delighted. The cost is modest. I suggest this place to to all.

I have somewhat limited experience with their menu. I was intriqued to see the number of bad reviews of the food. I have only had the burgers and the veggie burgers there since the fire. I thought they were both good. The veggie burger has some nice spice to it and is a nice change when I don't feel like having meat. The burgers are good, but what I especially like are the toppings, not that there is anything particularly unusual about them. Grilled onions, sauteed mushrooms, various cheeses, bacon and some other choices. How can you go wrong with that? Unlike some wine I had at another place recently which fairly bland, the wine I had there was nice.nnDisjointed is the word that comes to mind about the old tavern before the fire. It almost seemed randomly put together. Despite keeping the same basic structure, there are enough tweeks to it that it all works together now and the flow is much better. Since everything is new, it looks a bit more upscale compared to what it used to. I had hoped that they would have another tree growing up in the back part.

Got nachos last night 2/25/21 and was very disappointed. We normally get wings or burgers from Tavern which have always been good. The nachos were the complete opposite. It was all chips(most had no toppings on them), very little bit of cheese, couple of jalapeño peppers, and about 4-5 pieces of chicken which I paid extra for. Would not recommend.
