Baltimore County Board of Elections

If you're looking for the ballot drop box, it is far in the back (farther than you would think it should be). There were damaged patrol vehicles on the right for a good bit, and the ballot box itself was in front of a poorly marked building on the opposite side of the street. The line to drop off my ballot was long, and the positioning of the box on the wrong side of the road meant that the parking lot was an absolute disaster. I'm grateful that a drop box exists, but I believe more thought should have went into the positioning and signage for such an important item.

Good luck getting a human on the phone. Waited for 1 hr and 15 minutes before hanging up due to low battery. My 12 year old child received a letter from them thanking her for submitting an application for her to vote. Obviously, she didn’t submit an application to vote! Please don’t tell me their isn’t FRAUD going on. And they won’t even answer their phone to address it!

We found this year's primary election process to be very unsatisfactory. The sample ballots were too small to read comfortably. When we checked in, they would not look at our voter registration cards, or check our ID's. The booths were not private enough, they were very close together, we had other people's children watching us as we filled in the ballots. The ovals were small, and difficult to fill in, and when we submitted our ballots in the machine that the people standing by the machine were able to look and see our choices. All in all, the security was so lax, and the process was so uncomfortable, that we would prefer to receive our ballots in the mail, and mailing them back.
