Nice place to relax on a hot day, mostly all of the square is covered by the oaks and sitting in the gazebo is a good place too. Also if you play pokemon go it is in the area of a bunch of stops and lots of pokemon spawn here.
Make a wish at the fountain:>
Its nice. My family went on the Christmas stroll in the square and you have to visit the different places on the sheet of paper that is given to you. It helps the businesses draw customers in and explore the beautiful surroundings. So, when you are turn your paper in, there will be a drawing of gift cards and gift baskets (& etc). But in the square, it also a venue for weddings (a gazebo to stand in -or can be used for a romantic outing/date) or receptions or even a get together. It's a great place with easy access to varieties of food choices, churches, banks, etc just in that area..
The parade was to short. However setting in the park watching the Grinch was awesome. So was the hot cocoa and the kids seen santa.
Absolutely beautiful Christmas lights.
