Windsor (South Shore Plaza - Braintree, MA)

I bought a white skirt and top with a cover. The cover was made with glitter but had I known the glitter would have been coming off/out I would have left it there for $40. The skirt and top had my actual skin color. I don’t wear make-up, especially not on my arms and stomach. By the end of the night it was no longer white in areas where my skin was exposed. Definitely am not returning because why would I buy clothing that takes my skin color off for the prices they have. I would have done better getting a cheap outfit from Rainbows.

I usually love shopping here. I went with my friend to get a dress for a college ball. We had 9 dresses for her to try on. We waited in the long a** line for about 20 mins, just like everyone else. My friend even said in the line “if I didn’t like these dresses so much, I wouldn’t wait in this line.” We eventually got to the dressing room, and showed the employee all our items. She told us it was fine but we could only take in 6 at a time. So we did that, I handed her the extra few when she couldn’t take more, etc. That’s what people do when they try on clothes. We were very nice to the employees, I put all the dresses back myself that we didn’t like, etc. We took about 20 mins (about as long as we waited in the line). Keep in mind there are only 4 DRESSING ROOMS TOTAL. We leave, and then are about to check out and we get yelled at by 2 customers about how inconsiderate we are and seriously going after us and attacking us. I simply said that we apologize if we took too long and that we get it, she doesn’t need to keep yelling at us. She turns to the EMPLOYEE that let us in the dressing room and let us in with our 9 items, and continued to complain about us and the employee began to agree with her, egging her on and validating her. Im not saying her concern wasn’t valid, but I don’t need to be condemned in front of a whole store of people and to have the employee agree and not do anything about it was such an embarrassment and completely killed my friend and I’s day. If the employee had said something to us that we were taking too long in the first place we would have hurried up. But like I said we waited in the same line. I confronted a manager quietly and told her the situation and she was very nice about it, and I hope she does something about it. The woman still tried to initiate a fight asking the manager “did she say something about the dressing room?” Like seriously, I am 20 years old and I literally just wanted my friend to find a dress and this grown a** woman was going off for waiting in the same line i did.nnMy advice for this store is to work on how to handle situations in a more professional manner. I will not be returning and my friend may return her dress. Professionalism and kindness is lost in the customer service industry!

3/5 stars because the store had a great selection and reasonable prices but i felt as though there were fewer friendly/happy employees willing to help me find a size or get an item from up high compared to those who were happy to be there. I understand as someone who works that work is work but it seemed as though they were vocally and physically annoyed. Also there was a discussion between two employees regarding their hours being cut because the employee called out too much or wished to switch shifts, as a consumer of the store I don’t think that a conversation like that should happen in front of a long line of customers waiting to use the dressing room. The conversation persisted for 25 minutes and felt very improfessional for the manager or higher employee to call out the co worker in front of other employees and the customers. I felt bad for the co worker being called out and after making awkward eye contact with shoppers the conversation still persisted. This honestly turned me off from shopping further in the store.

Love this store!!! Can always find something in a pinch that's cute I got a cute dress last min for a function I had to attend and the best part it was under $50...

The best store for dresses. I always find what I need there.
