This beautiful park has a disc course and plenty of places to walk and explore. There is also two dog parks and a splash pond for the kids. It also has covered areas with tables. I understand that the fishing is good but one must be aware of snakes and alligators. Pay attention to the signage which lists do's and don'ts
I’ve lived in the back of Ames all my life and never knew this was here lol. I love how secluded it is. Not sure if it’s usually completely empty like it was today or not, but it seems like a good place to run if you want privacy. Two pokestops here for anyone still playing Pokémon Go :)
I love it, but wish there was more than one walking trail.
