Went to the voodoo festival in October in 2019. The festival had rain the first day and there wasn't much to do besides walk threw it to get from show to show. I'd recommend bringing Boots even if it rained two days before. They provided a few temporary paths using hard plastic walkways. They also layyed down straw to help but it wasn't nearly enough.
Went for voodoo fest. It was VERY muddy but other than that it was a good location. Easy to get to.
Spacious, minor tree and shade coverage, come prepared with sunscreen and a hat for sure. I attended Beignet Fest for a few hours, get there when they first open to avoid the intense heat.nnThe morning portion was more family oriented.nnNice walking paths around the ponds. Some bird sightings as well.nnNice and friendly area, a blend of locals and tourists
Some of the best festivals happen right here!
Nice grounds, restroom allways monitor, shelter clean, trash can emptying, tables clean,and the wash the area daily.
