I love supporting small local bookstores like this, especially the ones that seem to genuinely care about their customers, which this one does. Each trip I have made to Marissa's has been a pleasant one. I will occasionally buy a book that stands out to me, but I also just enjoy browsing for a while even if I don't find anything.
It seemed a bit unorganized at first but it has been getting better and easier to understand the layout. The employees are also super friendly and happy to help you locate a book or make suggestions based on your preferences.
As for pricing, I would say that all of the nicer/classics/rarer books are very fairly priced, but the lower end/regular books seem a bit overpriced to me. $6 was about the lowest I could find for most of the books I looked at.
Overall a great shop and definitely worth stopping into if you're looking for a new book to read.
