I cannot be any more thankful for the kindness, professionalism, and care provided to me and my family at my mom’s unexpected passing. Don, Kimberly, and staff provided excellent care to ensure her dignity was maintained and worked diligently with a very difficult hospital to expedite the necessary processes. The funeral home is beautiful and peaceful... but you don’t even have to go there as they can handle all paperwork and transport while also delivering the cremains if that is the need. Thank you In Their Honor for your compassion and care... and for offering affordable prices at such a devastating time. Many blessings!
My mother passed a day before I arrived on a scheduled visit. I got a call first from the hospice nurse, but second from Don Ware, owner of the funeral home. He was kind, and patient, and let me ask questions. When I arrived, the staff was also kind, and thoughtful. His wife, was also around, and was comforting, caring, and worked diligently to get paperwork in your hands very quickly. When it came time to see my mother, it was in a space that was clean, private, and home like. They covered her body in a nice quilt, and she looked peaceful. This was one of the most difficult times in my life, but they made it as easy as it could have gone, and very comfortable. Being that she had been married to a man in service, and her brother also served, they even gave a discount. Please, if you live in this area, use them. I wouldn't trust anyone else.
I can only sing praises for Don and Kimberly's kindness and help during an extremely difficult time. They were so professional and months later Kimberly was still in contact and working on our family's behalf to maneuver thru the state's red tape. She has genuine concern for the three minor children of my beloved daughter. Family members remarked how comfortable and soothing their facility is. My grandchildren have a lovely memory of their mother's service. Kimberly suggested the kids help her with the memory board and placing the pictures. It was a celebration of her life and not frightening to them at all. Thank goodness I stumbled upon In Their Honor as they were there for us in our time of sorrow. Top service and loving care from Don & Kimberly.
Kimberly and Don don't just run a business; they become personal, kind, generous listeners, and quick responders to the myriad questions and concerns after a death, all while maintaining professional decorum and service. A rare find these days. After the death of my closest, life-long friend, Kimberly and Don met the emotional task of my writing and placing her obituary with respect and unwavering attention, even while they were miraculously doing the same for other families. I'm forever grateful.
A friend of 20 years referred me to In Their Honor of Jasper. Soon thereafter, I lost one of the most amazing women that I have ever known. Much to my surprise, Don and Kimberley handled the entire process with grace, kindness and respect.....far superior to other experiences that I’ve had. I cannot say “thank you” enough to them. They went above and beyond to make this extremely-difficult process, of transitioning life without my dear Sarah, as easy as possible.nI just cannot sing their praises enough!
