This trip to the Cracker Barrel is the only one where the staff didn't care about my experience, called me a liar, hung up on my call to say I was at curbside, my food was at the counter while they are telling me it wasn't received. I asked for my tip money back (prepaid curbside pickup) on Sun. 02/20. The kitchen manager said he was busy & would return it later. Its Weds 02/23. No returned tip for HORRIBLE BEHAVIOR. If this is the best they can do with half filled dining rooms, I'll wait until AFTER the pandemic is over & they hire a new staff

This is a popular restaurant chain. Normally this indicates a friendly atmosphere. However, on this visit our first impression at the desk you submit your name for seating didn't go very well. My husband submitted our name. We were told approximately 30 minutes wait. No problem. I enjoy browsing the cute, welcoming country store. *I literally walked around waiting inside for the allotted thirty minutes. Never heard our names. Never. My husband goes to the desk. I joined him. He asked how much longer to wait. Gave our name. The individual monitoring the desk says your name was called. We stated. No, didn't hear it. Been inside, never heard it. That individual holds up some little paper with a time on it...says yes. Your name was called and here's the time. *I stated firmly, insistently, no you did not I have inside the entire time...I'm not going to argue about it... anyway. At that point another individual came up and was exceedingly friendly. Apologized for the inconvenience, stated that our unpleasant experience will change to a great one with her. *This server was exceptional, friendly and professional. She was the saving grace to this particular location. Our food as usual was exceptional. No names provided of the first impression at the desk.... maybe it was just a busy day. Life's too short to worry....

Average WH. I don't care for the breakfast much except for the pancakes. Scrambled eggs way overcooked and dry and bacon below average. Toast has a greasy, grill top taste. Except for pancakes, best in town, I'll be going elsewhere for breakfast.
