Nice place for a walk or ride a bike.

Good put-in for the trail for families and if you want to rent a bike. Public restroom at this location.

Awesome place to start the comet. The people at the bike shop there are very friendly

The old Silver Comet Depot bike shop has closed, but this remains a great place to park and get a few miles in on the trail. Plenty of parking space, with public restrooms and a water fountain. There are also a couple picnic tables and a Shell gas station right next door if you need to grab conveniences. Heading east on the trail, it's about 4 miles to the trail's eastern termins near Smyrna. Heading west, you can keep going on the trail all the way to Alabama.

Miss the old bike shop but a great place to start on the Silver Comet Trail
