Turner House

The rooms have synthetic floors that are easily scuffed and stained so they never look clean. The sink is in a very inconvenient position, in a corner. The bathroom light switch is outside the bathroom and the windows don't open. The courtyard of the building is beautiful and it's convenient to be able to get food or go to the convenience store, but it's also easy to walk to the Hive over the bridge. It discourages the use of the garden because the garden is a bit out of the way, but if you don't want to walk all the way to the garden to get blueberries, there are wild blackberries growing on the bridge between Turner and the Hive.

The Deli and C-Store are wonderful but the fact the rooms you stay in are just one big room with no separation is awful. No privacy. If someone takes a shower you better hope theyre fast cus the toilet is in the same bathroom. The bath clogs easy. You only get two closets, so if theres three of you, that sucks.

Everyone always rags on Turner House but I really like it! I feel like it’s much more spacious and less claustrophobic than The Hive. You’re bound to run into some cockroaches but honestly, that happens at all the dorms.
