Lawn Doctor of Savannah/Beaufort County

I engaged Lawn Doctor approximately six months ago to help beautify and improve our lawn. The sales person was very eloquent and persuasive as she described the service, including information about the steps and products which would be utilized to achieve the desired result.nUnfortunately, the team at Lawn Doctor talks a much better game than they actually play.nThe problem started after the first application. I noticed that the lawn was improving inconsistently. I thought that the process must take some time, so I would be patient. I was paying to have both liquid and granular fertilizer applied to the lawn. Considering the inconsistency of the lawn (parts were greening while others were remaining dormant), I thought I would watch the technician apply the products the next time he arrived. Interestingly, it became clear to me just why there were improving, green areas, and there were areas that were just not getting better. When applying the granular material to the lawn in the back of the property, I watched the technician make one pass through the center of the property, and miss the balance of the lawn. I thought, he must have run out of product, so he must be going to the truck to refill. Actually, no. He was done and left.nThe next visit, on 06/08/20, he again missed covering significant portions of the lawn with the granular portion of the treatment. In addition, he spilled fertilizer on an area in our front yard (approximately 3'x3'). I noted the problem the next day - that part of the grass is now dead. There is a space, about the size of two trash can lids, in the front yard, where all of the grass is dead - and there is a significant amount of fertilizer granules packed into the soil there. I have been working for months to make this lawn look nice, and now have to repair what will surely be another bare spot. Needless to say, I am unhappy about the carelessness of the technician assigned to our lawn.nThat was it for me. I sent the company a comment in response to their emailed invoice, and called their office to say that we no longer wish for them to provide service to us.

I have had people to come and tell me how great my lawn looks. They can find no weeds or anything that would deter from the beautiful lawn. I am very satisfied with their service. They call and let me know when they are coming. Arriving, they do their job and never an interruption. I would recommend this company to anyone who might be interested in keeping a weed free and green looking lawn.

A great business deal always starts from the fist call you make. Connie is wonderful. I knew nothing about proper lawn care and Connie knew how to explain everything to me. There was no hard sales pitch, like others I’d called for estimates. My lawn looks great and the cost was lower than other companies.

Richard Lukesh here with many positive comments concerning Lawn Doctor. What characteristics define a competent company? Not only the products employed, but also the service people who actually deliver the service. To wit, I very much enjoy listening to the men completing the work as they explain what they are doing and the rationale for the applications. They are succinct and quite knowledgeable with their answers as well as very proud of their efforts. I, too, am extremely proud of their diligence.nAnother kudo goes to Connie in the man office; she, too, was most knowledgeable and very, very convincing in her soft gentle manner--an excellent resource.nnAs a retired School Principal, Lawn Doctor receives a Report Grade of A+ and is enrolled in the Honor Society.

Although we’re already paying for Summit services on the north side of Sun City, it’s good to know these pros at Lawn Doctor can provide expertise advice and quick solutions to specific problems. The company reputation is strong and we’ll call them again in the future. I’m one of the few not dissatisfied with Summit, but sometimes you need more than the standard commercial contract services. This is a good option.
