Even though I'm an athiest, my family is Mormon, and i attend functions at the church for familyreasons. Many people are quick to judge them, and i did when i was growing up. In reality, they are pretty great people. They helpothers, and value family. There are things they preach that i don't agree with, (mostly the existence of god), however, they are peaceful, loving, industrious, and disciplined. All good qualities of people. There are snobs and a holes, but there are snobs and a holes in every religion. I will always defend the good people of the church, because i have been shown tolerance and respect for my beliefs by most of them.

Everyone was very welcoming. It is an older crowd. They have alot of life experience. They are even very welcoming to the transgender woman in the congregation.
