Sanctuary RV Resort is the best resort in south west Florida. Far enough away to be quit but has so much to do in surrounding area. Everyone who winters there are so friendly. Lots of socializing and everyone gets along great. The staff is FANTASTIC. Megan and Dalton in the office go out of their way to accommodate everyone. If you have any concerns with your site Gail in maintenance will be right there to fix whatever is needed. and do I even have to mention Thirsty Thursday's. All I hope is that I can get a reservation when I come back in 2022

We have spent the last year at Sanctuary due to the pandemic and the fact that we are full timers! The staff, Meghan and Dalton, have been very accommodating to us during this time. We have been on several sites and they have all been acceptable. The resort has so many activities during the season such as cornhole competitions, bingo, card games, Trivia nights, book clubs, yoga. thirsty Thursdays and so many more. Sanctuary is situated between a lot of great places to visit and explore. 10 minutes to the closest beach! Oh, the friends you will meet here.

Stayed here for a week. If you like barking dogs next to your site, you will love this place. We had multiple neighbors who left their trailers/motor homes for dinner (and during the day) and their dogs let us know the entire time they were not happy. General facilities seem quite nice if you are in the center area by the pool only. Be careful of the other areas. Management needs to be more proactive regarding dog issues. We were told entire area is a flood zone so be careful in the rainy season. They mandated a move for us from the site we had reserved two months earlier to a site not nearly as nice. It is very close to 75 which is convenient. Also good shopping and restaurants in the area. Not planning on returning.

This may be nice for seasonal stays but not a great over night. $92 (3/31 to 4/1) and a very messy site and roads. Piles of leaves, no grass around the patio slab. It had rained and there were huge areas of standing water in the roadways. No picnic tables and dog droppings everywhere.

Stayed the past 2 winters at Sanctuary RV, and we love it.nVery nice pool, pickleball court, cornhole, and many activities.nMost sites are gravel with concrete patios. Some sites recently upgraded to brick pavers, with many more scheduled for completion soon. New owners a few months ago have already begun upgrades.nThe management and staff are awesome. we very much look forward to next season to see the results and get back together with the wonderful friends we've made here.
