I did a walk in to this place with my new Aussie puppy because my veterinarian place of 13yrs that I have always taken my other 3 dogs to were very rude to me about not wanting to just drop my puppy off for his very first visit due to their covid restrictions. I understand we are all being careful however my husband was allowed to stay with our other 2 yrs old Aussie only 2 weeks prior so when they refused to let me stay and were rude to me about it I left and found this place. They welcomed me and my puppy very warmly. He got the treatment he needed and we will be transferring our other 3 dogs to this animal hospital for all future needs. These women were wonderful. Terry

First time visit with a new puppy and we received excellent service. Staff is very friendly, office is super clean and no smells, and I was able to get a last minute appointment. Dr. Andrew Jauquet is very knowledgeable, especially about the unique Florida environment and how it impacts our pets. I was very impressed and highly recommend Newport Animal Hospital.

My husband and I with our two dogs have been enjoying 2 months in Florida for 7 years. We had not needed vet service until this year, our 12 year old terrier mix became extremely ill. She was in pain and unable to walk very well. I called and was given an appointment that morning. The staff from phone call to office visit was friendly, understanding, professional and kind. The facility is welcoming, clean and followed COVID restrictions. Dr. Amy Fisher was awesome as she sat on the floor to examine our shy girl putting her at ease..She was knowledgeable, caring and diagnosed the problem. Dr. Fisher took time to explain the treatment and what to expect. The office called 2 days later inquiring about our dog's condition. We feel our dog received excellent care. I highly recommend Dr. Fisher and Newport Animal Hospital. .

I would give them 0 stars if I could. They did several things poorly. They did $1200 dollars worth of tests on our puppy and told us they couldn't find anything wrong. They sent are puppy home with respiratory problems. We had to fly home to Missouri to our Vet there and for $200 they found and solved the problems and got our puppy back to health. Worst of all they push the Hills Science Digestive food which is in a class action lawsuit in 2019 because of dog deaths. They put our dog on it and several times while we were sitting in the waiting room heard them pushing other dog owners to buy it. I wonder if they get a kickback for selling it. Our dog was sick while eating it and when we stopped using it she got better. I recommend you go to another vet.

Our Golden has had an on-going problem for about 2 years and Dr. Andrew figured it out in about 10 minutes. The office was very caring and really professional. If you need a Vet this is the place. Very happy we were referred to Newport Animal Hospital.
