Had outpatient surgery last week and I can’t say enough about the amazing nurses I had! Everyone was so nice and caring. I was a little nervous because I am typically a South Shore Hospital patient or I go to Boston. The specialist I was going to works out of good Sam so off I went! From check in to discharge I was well cared for! Not one mean or inattentive nurse. I also saw how they cared for other patients with such compassion.

I went to the hospital because I was having chest pains my experience there was not a pleasant one the room wasn't clean the toilet wasn't clean Noah the sink either the housekeeper that came there she clean my table off and picked up my cup with her gloves on over my cup unprofessional the floor hadn't been swept the nurse assistant that did my vitals was not professional at all she barely communicated with me wouldn't even look me in my eyes not pleasant at all I love Good Samaritan but this time the experience was one that I won't want to come back to if I have to go on that floor other nurses were very friendly hospitable when I went downstairs to do my labs and do a stress test the Ladies down there oh my Lord they were the pleasantest friendliest kind had me laughing I had a wonderful time down there if I could have stayed down there and had my bedroom down there I would have a very clean the young man there he was very nice to I asked the ladies downstairs maybe the ladies upstairs were a little tired that's the reason why they weren't so friendly but the ladies downstairs told me they've been there for 40-something years and their friendly outgoing spirit is always the same no matter if they've been there for 24 hours straight so there's no excuse for anybody treating a patient like they really don't want to be bothered with them so that's my Outlook of Good Samaritan Hospital not a happy one and I was on the second floor thank you and have a blessed day

I had a very good experience. My best nurse was sandra. Always there when u need her. Meghan was my aide and this kid answered call bell better than anyone. During the day it was always a long wait when u hit button. One other thing is u need to hire more transport people.. my doctor was the best he took the time to explain in detail what was going on. Very professional and caring

I went into Good Samaritan after midnight to the emergency room with chest pains. Having had a heart attack in the past, I knew what to expect at an emergency room. I was asked to fill out paperwork and could barely hold the pen. I was then asked to wait in chairs to be seen. After triage, I was sent back to chairs to then be asked to walk quite a distance to X-ray. All the while, feeling light headed and short of breath, and heavy chest radiating down both arms and up to chin. Notice no wheel chair was offered. After X-ray, I asked for a wheel chair and the “transport” person said,” good luck with that”. That’s when I decided this was NOT the place for me. I left and went to another hospital. I was having serious chest pains and shortness of breath. Having been seen at two other hospitals in their network, they could see my history of heart attacks. What should have happened: I give my name and I be taken to the emergency department right away and given a heart monitor. Blood work taken and given blood thinner. Instead, I was asked to do the worst thing for heart attack. I DO NOT recommend this hospital for emergency care at all. ZERO stars

The nurses and the doctors were very good. From the time I entered to the time I came out , was fond memories. I will always choose Good samaritan over any hospital. Their hospitality is second to non.
