Cool Wave WASHPLEX

I was in need of a car wash primarily so I could utilize the vacuum for my vehicle, the exterior wash is not typically my concern as is maintaining a clean interior and vacuuming routinely is necessary. I typically use a place in Hampton but this place is right across from my gym so it seemed convenient to try it out. When I arrived I stated to the employee who was standing by the pay station that I was primarily there to vacuum and she tried to sell me on a higher priced wash and although I stated that I simply only needed to vacuum and I was only paying for the wash in order to have access to the vacuum, she continued to try to sell me on a higher and more “valuable” alternative. Although she was annoying in her sales tactic, I understand that this is likely her job to obtain memberships and to increase sales for this business. So I brushed it off. I was notified that I would only get access to the vacuum for 5 minutes, which seems like a small amount of time, but even more so the maximum time allotted with other washes is only 10 minutes which is not a good value at all. I pull up to vacuum area and prep my car for vacuuming as I know I will only get 5 minutes once I put the code in. While rushing I was able to do a decent job of vacuuming my car as my back seat was my main area of concern. After the vacuum shuts off, I finish by cleaning out last bits of trash and reorganizing my car, likely a total of 3 minutes or less. While I was doing this I was being stared down by an employee in the area who began rushing me to ensure I drove off immediately post vacuuming. I saw the signs that stated the vacuum area is only for vacuuming and you must leave when finished, however a minute or two to throw trash away from the vehicle seems like a reasonable request especially when there are no cars waiting to utilize my specific vacuum space.nnI will not be visiting this place again or recommending it to anyone. The value is not worth it and the customer service is poor.

Love this place! It's huge! The theme inside changes every week, it's an amazing idea for those with kids. Not to mention the fun things they do for kids on Wednesdays. I am always happy with the car wash.

Excellent......absolutely excellent and they offer a inexpensive ride through comedic wash! It plays a vampire cartoon pattern on your car as you ride through. Great for children! I hope they have different themes at different times. Yet truth above the Vampire theme entertainment the car was was a plus ten! 10+

You don't hear about this place at all, which they should advertise more but we went there to wash our new car.. And wow. It's like disco inside of the car wash, they have different scenes every week, and membership deals do the month, where you can pass by the other cars, and inside the car wash is all about that theme with lights as its washing your car, great place.. Great idea! Every kid would love this place, and adult. And afterwards you also get a free vacuum ticket and when you pull up to the vacuum you get to vacuums on both sides it is just amazing not to mention the floor mats cleaner. Lol. Everyone should check it out

Great car wash! The membership is actually a really good deal, pays for itself after just a couple washes. I’ve had memberships at other car washes, out of state and in NOVA and this car wash is definitely the best value. The car wash itself, does a great job. 10 mins for a vacuum is also very generous, I have yet to use up all my time, however, I do wish the vacuum was a little more powerful.nIt’s important to understand what this car wash actually offers. This is not a “full” service car wash. When you read other reviews, it seems like a lot of people are rating it as such. This is a quick convenient wash that has the feel of a full service car wash. If you’re like me, And like running your vehicle through a wash frequently, then I would recommend this place. If you are looking for a full detail, go elsewhere.
