I've had the occasion recently to deal with York County social services and to be quite honest I was always afraid of those people but I was so wrong. The people that I have spoken to and dealt with have been nothing but helpful and kind and truly concerned and and only had my mother's best interest at heart so my hat's off to you ladies and gentlemen keep doing the good work

So many way to help families in need. Financial empowerment class was great!! I even got a free gas card for showing up and they fed my kids dominos pizza and let them play!

This place is not helpful. Only employees on front desk are nice and welcoming but if you go further there is no help and no empathy showing to clients. I would not recommend to asking for help here. With the same problem I got help for me and my son but in different city human service after I relocated.

Only care about people they already know or people who keep having kids with mates they know have nothing. They don't care about single people who are unable to find jobs and actively discriminate against them. Several misrepresentations of fact and inconsistencies by most of the staff there, especially Ms. Cousins and Ms. Bradbury (who doesn't return calls) Inbred. For instance, Ms. Cousins lied and had me drive all the way down there in all that traffic knowing I was laid off when I could have done everything via email. Ms. Cousins does not deserve her retirement at all. They are protective over state benefits as if they are coming out of their own personal account.
