This place is an joke like rest of the county. They tear family's apart take children from homes. Some the workers there lie to win court cases. Threaten you when no one is around. Does not have or show evidence in court to back up their lies. They definitely dont help you there. I have reported an worker to the person over her and nothing was done. Used entrapment to cause even more trouble.

Terrible they placed my best friends child here with me,I had him almost 3 months we were planning on adopting baby and when parents went to jail ms. Viers took the baby even when she knew we was adopting baby mother and father is requesting from jail that we have custody of baby because we r adopting him she still won't abide by their wishes I have a lawyer now and he isn't from tazewell he isn't afraid to take tazewell on..I have requested a copy of my home study and all allegations which they all came from the grandparents and dss refuses to give to me and then after ms.viers took the child that she placed here she tells everyone we r on drugs and home is unfit and un livable I invite anyone to my home its all lies ....I still have all notarized documents and affidavits of parents wishes .......
Very helpful
Extremely Helpful and knowledgeable staff willing to assist at a moments notice. The facility itself is immaculate and very well maintained and operated. It's very encouraging to see a State Office on the local level operate so efficiently and professionally. Wish other Departments in the State could operate on the level of pride and professionalism found here at TCSS.
