Still owned and operated by the Carter Family. Mountain music, dancing, clogging every Saturday night. Only 10 bucks admission. Plenty of fun. Food counter-served.
It's a lovely place, the show was awesome. If your seats are 1/2 way up or more the experience is not great. The sound quality drops significantly, they have speakers mid way up but didn't use them, and instead id the stage speakers being angled they were pointed straight out. That caused the upper half to get bounce sound which diminished the experience. We will go back but only if we get decent seats.
I mean it was okay but I only got to see the outside so I don't know what the inside looks like
