Posted a 1 star only because I couldn't figure out how to get in. I saw the sign on the main road and turned down the side road. I saw 2 roads...one was near the top and marked as private...the other was at the bottom of the hill and the gate was closed.nnI thought I'd edit my review. After posting I found out that the farm isn't normally open to the public . One can book an appointment though. I also upped my review to 3 stars because I didn't think it was right to ding them with a 1 star because I didn't understand how it worked.

Love everything about Mary draper Ingles! The farm tour was awesome, thank you to the family for opening the farm for the day and sharing your heritage with the public
