My husband and I went to Mt. Airy for his birthday this past weekend. We stayed at the Mayberry Motor Inn. It was so clean and quiet. The people who own it and work there are just so friendly, helpful, and nice. I highly recommend staying here. It is very reasonably priced and a perfect location!

What an absolute adorable inn to stay at!! My husband and I stayed here a couple weekends ago for our honeymoon and it was perfect! From the moment you turn in to the parking lot, you have a relaxed feeling come over you. A simpler times feeling if you will. The staff are friendly and outgoing and make you feel right at home. You will find pictures and articles in the lobby about Mayberry and Andy Griffith, Aunt Bee, Opie and of course Barney!! Barney's squad car is parked outside of the Inn and so is Floyd's truck.nnThe rooms are super clean and the en suite has a switch to turn the heat on while you are in the shower. The beds are very comfy and the pillows are some of the fluffiest I have ever had the pleasure of sleeping on.nnI HIGHLEY recommend the Mayberry Inn as a safe, clean, beautiful place to rest your head from your travels!!nnI can't wait until our next stay!!!

This place is a absolute treasure, clean, beautiful gazebo where we gathered with other travellers and shared stories. It's a cozy breath of fresh air that we will stay at any chance we get.

Love love love this place!!!!! So warm and inviting right off the bat. It is so cute and quaint. If your looking for the throw back to old fashion motel style this is your place. So clean quiet and comfortable. Front desk clerk was owners grandson and was a pleasure to talk with along with his cousin. Also had knowledge about Andy Griffith and the show. After days on the road for work this place was well needed after the nightmares I’ve had to deal with. Will def return when given the chance. Thank you to all, I so needed this. Better than any chain I’ve stayed at ever.
