Peaceful, beautiful...a wonderful view of the mountains and Shenandoah Valley. A great place to take a moment to breath and find some solitude...Gain some perspective, let the hustle and bustle go for a little while...timeless... ground yourself and unwind from life... feel like the tiny speck on the planet that you really are....the same feeling you get when standing at the edge of the ocean but without the sand and those balsted seagulls! ... a place where you will go to in your mind when you are back in the office and feel the need to escape on a Tuesday afternoon.
Absolutely a breath taking overlook. Small picnic area, however lots of areas to hang out and have a lunch. The views are amazing here! Very nice place for photos. The rocks aren't too difficult to get down onto. Highly recommend making this a must see on your list.
Beautiful spot to watch the sunset. There's pretty limited parking, so get there early. Lots of space to spread out and set up a chair.
Unique view of the valley. Totally worth the stop.
