I stayed here for a week on my vacation and loved it. I was able to make day trips to wineries every day (20 in 7 days!), popped into Charlottesville one night for dinner and watched a polo match in Crozet before I headed home.nnGreat for a solo traveler or couples. Families with children may have to get creative with the sleeping arrangements; there's one bedroom upstairs and a futon that opens into a bed downstairs.
I spent the winter season working at Wintergreen resort and my 4 month stay at Cub Creek was perfect for what I needed. The Hodge family was very hospitable and always open if I had any questions about the apartment. The place is very roomy for a one bedroom apartment complete with all the comforts of home. Great location just down the hill from the moutain, a few minutes from some great breweries and Bold Rock Cidery, and it's close to Crabtree Falls if you are looking for things to do in the area! Highly recommended and perfect for any length of stay!
