This was a very relaxing winter vacay. We had to vacuum a bunch of spiders out from under our bed and the hot tub is blocked out between three houses on the property that are rented on air bnb. We also have to kill a mouse in the kitchen, though we only saw the one.

Buyer Beware! Jennifer the host ruined our daughters wedding. She canceled on us with only 3 weeks before the wedding. We were crushed. Oh she will come up with a million excuses as to why but NONE of them are true. We were so looking forward to hosting our daughter's wedding at her venue, however she got into a fight with our wedding planner (one she recommended) and then all of a sudden things with her went south. We are still not sure why. Our daughter will forever be sad about her wedding day and how it was not at the Fairview as we planned and payed for, for over a year. Terribly disappointing, incredibly unprofessional, and self serving. What kind of person ruins someone's wedding after meeting and planning with the couple and family for over a year?

Absolutely stunning. Walking through this 1867 estate, you can feel the history, which has been respected and cared for by the current owner. The stained glass pieces throughout the home are masterful. Each room has its own character and has been lovingly furnished. We came with our dog Ellie and she made herself right at home. Beautiful 360 views of iconic Virginia farmland and Blue Ridge mountains. We loved feeding the horses apples out of our hands, and we were even visited by the peacocks on the back porch while we were relaxing by the fireplace in the den. The kitchen is as gorgeous and equipped with an anazing Vulcan range and commercial grade equipment. The jacuzzi tub upstairs was a super cozy spot to relax and unwind, bring your own shampoo. Its funny how you can travel the world over the years, yet end up finding the perfect destination only a few hours away. We'll be back.

Love this place!! The decoration is so beautiful. The views outside make you feel like in a movie. The perfect place to go out of the city. Really enjoy my time there specially on the hot tub ✔ufe0f

My family and I stayed at the cottage on the property, and the views from the place are amazing. After touring Fairview, I can't wait until I get a chance to take another vacation. I would love to stay in the B&B next time. Jennifer is the most friendly and gracious hostess. She made us feel amazingly welcome. Watching the Peacocks wander the property was a unique experience and real fun for my daughter. Walking the property in the morning while drinking coffee and gazing out at the mountains was the most relaxed I have been in a long time.
