Deep Creek is a great school. The small size allows you to become close to all of your classmates and teachers. It really feels like one big family. Although our sports teams have not been the best lately, the school spirit is still here. I would recommend this school to any and everybody.

I graduated year 2000. The best high school in Chesapeake. All the teachers are the best. I wouldn't trade them in for nothing. Keep up the good work. CREEK FOR LIFE

Deep Creek High has been chosen for a new program called the Science & Medicine Academy. There was high competition to get into a low number of slots, I believe this is going to be a stellar program for Deep Creek. Yes, I think Grassfield High did pull a dis-appropriate number of students from Deep Creek, Great Bridge and Hickory and caused a number of issues mostly for Deep Creek. The lines need to be re-drawn as much as parents and students may hate this so balance can be reattained for Deep Creek as well as the other schools. I've known that Deep Creek High has been a good school not that long ago but with this new program and if the student population can be balanced out correctly it will attain what it had not that long ago.

Great school. Both my children graduated from this svhool.
Similar place
