If I could give this school a negative star I would. Do not send your kids to this ghetto school. The teachers, administration and staff are horrible. They allow children to bring weapons to school, kids to assault ur children and do nothing about it. They put put the best magnets in the worst schools to try mix the demographics. The kids who are actually there to learn can't because kids are fight every 5 minutes. It's ridiculous!!! Don't send your kids here you will regret it!!!
This is not a high school I would recommend for your child. The security guards especially Mr. Birdsong inappropriately searched my son, pushed his arms behind his back and pushed him up on a wall in Mr. Taylor’s (fairly new administrator) office where there where conveniently no cameras. As we all know dirty deeds are done out of sight and off cameras! I did not understand all the anger my son had until today when it was clearly explained at Newport News Public schools Admin office. To disguise this issue my son will now enroll in alternative education to prevent any further issues with the security guard. Mr. Birdsong is unprofessional and I’m sure since he is a resource officer he is not properly trained to conquer or detain, any kind of searches that involve perennial areas, especially off camera. In all actuality this situation is a civil case, and they did violate my sons rights. On behalf of my son he had not had any issues until his senior year and has done fair to good with his assignments and working towards his credits to graduate. Overall, the administrators at Warwick need superior guidance in handling their children and focus on who the real problem include.
This school is straight up ass they going to tell me as a parent what to were to graduation they are sadly mistaken were they stand we pay there damn salaries they need to be told not tell me
This school is the worst school ever the administrations are all racist and they hate white kids the teachers bully the kids and then they send them out for responding ud83dudd95ud83dudd95ud83dudd95ud83dudd95ud83dudd95
